Education for the church.
Long-term, Harvous wants to serve how the church learns — believers studying Scripture, pastors teaching it, and churches organizing it. A tool for education. Never a substitute for the body.
Near-term: Shared Spaces for groups
The first group layer is Shared Spaces — a room your church or small group can study in together, with threads, scripture, and notes that live beyond the hour you meet. Joining a space is free for members; the space owner adds the paid add-on when they're ready.
If your church needs a shared study space for a class or small group, start there: Shared Spaces.
Further out: church organization accounts
Beyond personal and group spaces, we're planning church organization accounts for education and curriculum. Staff and volunteers publish threads and notes at the church level; people who connect their Harvous account to the church can receive that curriculum — without needing a personal invite link for every study.
Individual Shared Spaces stay the “I share my space with my group” story. Church org is “the church shares curriculum to everyone who’s connected.”
What Harvous is not
Harvous is a notes and study tool — not a full church management system. It complements tools churches already use for people, groups, and services. It is never a substitute for pastors, friends, or the gathered body.
Down the road, we plan integrations with church tools like Planning Center (and similar systems) so rosters and groups can sync into Harvous — keep your ChMS; use Harvous where Bible study lives.
What that looks like in Harvous
-
Groups study together
Shared Spaces keep what a class or small group discovers — in the same threads, after you leave the room.
-
Curriculum from the church
Future org accounts let staff publish study content to people connected to the church.
-
Connect, don’t clutter
Congregants link to their church to receive curriculum — without joining a staff org roster.
-
A tool for education
Believers study, pastors teach, churches organize — Harvous helps the memory and the materials, not the ministry itself.
Ways people like you study
Use cases are how the work shows up day to day. These are the ones that fit this audience best.
What church study builds on today
Personal Harvous already supports prep and teaching. Shared Spaces and church org features build on the same notes, threads, and scripture tools.
- Sharing
Share a note or thread with a link. No account needed on the other end.
- Threads
Manually connect notes together to create a thread, even across folders.

Works alongside other tools
Harvous does a different job than most Bible apps. Many people use it next to something they already love.
