Overview
Harvous is a Bible study notes app operated by Testament Made LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Harvous, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we use Clerk for authentication. Clerk may collect your email address, name, and sign-in details needed to verify your identity.
Your content. We store the notes, threads, spaces, highlights, and related study data you create in Harvous. This content is tied to your account and is private by default.
Usage and device data. We may collect basic technical information — such as browser type, app version, and general usage patterns — to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve Harvous: syncing your notes across devices, authenticating your account, responding to support requests, and protecting the service from abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
Your notes are private unless you choose to share them. When you create a share link, only the content you explicitly share becomes accessible to people with that link. We use trusted service providers (such as Clerk for auth and Supabase for data storage) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
Cookies
Harvous uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some information may be kept briefly where required for legal or security purposes.
